Bert and Barry look the same but they’re totally different characters.
Bert Sellmore is the cheesy 70s game-show host who hosted AT&T’s national sales meeting that was themed as "World of Fortune." Bert takes a regular corporate game-show and pushes it to the next comedic level with his over-confident yet clueless style. Bert retro manner and fashion has been a huge hit for numerous companies, including Sharp Electronics, Systems, Univar, Sally Beauty Supply and many more. Bert Sellmore knows that everyone loves him.
Barry Wert, on the other hand, is the worst salesman in the world. Barry is a hilarious anachronism of the way certain salesmen used to be. Barry is the perfect character to not only illustrate outmoded concepts and ideas, but to educate attendees on proper procedures and communication styles. The Barry Wert character has been a huge hit interacting with the VP from SAP, the CEO of SONY and executives from Carlisle Syntec.
